Photos: Ex- ASUU leader, Festus Iyayi laid to rest

The late former ASUU president, Professor Festus Iyayi was buried yesterday, December 7 in his hometown Eguare-Ugbegun, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State.

Members of all chapters of the Academic Staff Union of University were present as his remains was lowered to mother earth at about 11 a.m after a short funeral talk that was delivered by a clergyman.

In the pictures, the wife and children of the late professor is seen performing the dust-to-dust rites to pay their last respect. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
