The Revival Train, a family gospel
group, recently released their new single entitled ‘Celebrating Tinz’ The song
portrays the immense talent and artistic prowess of this family group.
According to the group, “With the
completion and promotional release of the new song, we are now set for the
official Nigeria release of our full album entitled 'Celebrating Tinz' in
November 2013.”
The Revival Train is signed by Tate
Music Group, TMG, in Mustang Oklahoma, United States of America and their debut
album is entitled ‘Living for a cause’.
Revival Train is a family gospel
group, comprising mother, Veronica Alkali and her children, Sunny, Ralph, Susan
and Michael. According to the
family, “The musical revelation came from the holy spirit through the mother as
a promise in Isaiah54:13-14 before her children were even born. As time went
by, things began to unfold and by the power of God’s direction, she got four of
her children involved.”
They have been writing, composing
and singing songs since the early 1990s. The group won the award for the Best
Gospel Video of the Year at the Nigerian Music Video Awards, NMVA in 2012. This
year they won the Best Christian Contemporary Video and Best World Video at the
Indie Music Channel Awards in Hollywood, California, USA.
