Salon magazine
in conjunction with Multi Devices Communications Limited recently hosted 40 hairstylists
within the South-South and South-West region of the country.
They
participated in hair workshop and competitions to qualify for the grand finale
of the Nigeria Hair Show which comes up next month. The South-South hair workshop
held in Port Harcourt while the South-West show held at Ay Gardens in Lagos.
This year’s preliminary event involved a photo selection process as participants
were judged based on creativity and finishing through a photo contest.
Some of the salons
that qualified for the grand finale include Make Me Salon, Togo Naija salon, Mescoly
salon, Oshbico cosmetology, The Best salon, Princess Gold Beauty Palace, Yintob
Beauty School and Nafowa Salon. The
products used for the preliminary event were provided by Linda manufacturing, Ladystar

The grand finale
of the Nigeria Hair Show will be a double celebration. It will celebrate the
ninth edition of the show as well as the maiden edition of the Africa Hair and
Makeover Awards, an award meant to reward beauty and style excellence within
the beauty sector in Africa.
According to the Project Director, Chukwumah
Emmanuel, Multi Devices Communications Limited is known for promoting the hair
and beauty sector. Also, the company aims to reach out to all other countries
within Africa as the event will be moved from one country to another.
Below are some of the pictures from the event.
Trust me, you will see more complicated hairstyles at the grand finale.
