Comedian and actor, Billy Crystal has replaced Eddie Murphy as host of the Oscars 2012.
Billy Crystal tweeted: "Am doing the Oscars so the young woman in the pharmacy will stop asking my name when I pick up my prescriptions. Looking forward to the show."
This change followed after Eddie Murphy announced he was leaving the production after Brett Ratner quit as the producer of the Academy Awards.
